Chris Ferraro and the Ferraro family established the Jennifer Ferraro Foundation to assist patients suffering from stomach and other gastrointestinal cancers. It is the goal of the Foundation to carry on Jen's legacy as a beacon of light by helping patients with medical bills, treatment expenses, and costs not covered by medical insurance, as well as easing some of the hardships caused by cancer. To date, the Foundation has raised over $140,000.00 for this cause and is extremely motivated and dedicated to add to this total year after year. The JFF has already donated $50,000 this year to worthy cancer causes, and looks forward to donating more money in the future. Whether it was moving with Chris from city to city throughout his professional hockey career, or lending a helping hand at team charity events, Jen was always willing to put her needs aside to care for others.
